Today, I crawled out of bed at four thirty a.m to dress warmly and head down to my town cenotaph, to mourn and remember the Anzacs lost on the shores of Gallipoli in 1915, 98 years ago today. Today, we remembered those who never made it home, who died fighting for our country.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them
Lest we forget
